We are a family owned and operated winery located in SoDo, the heart of Seattle, Washington.  
 
Alex is the winemaker, Sandi the event organizer.  The very name of our winery "Stomani" reflects our approach to wine making.    “Stomani” blends together Alex's surname "Manoni" and Sandi's surname "Stothers".   
 

At Stomani Cellars our focus is in making great Italian style wines with fruit from Washington State wine growing regions.  Alex (the winemaker) is working with the best Italian grape varietal, Sangiovese, blending this with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot to create our signature red wines.

  
Recent Accolades
Our innaugural release of red wines is the 2006 vintage.  We have been fortunate that 2 of the 4 wines we released have been medal winners!  That's batting .500!!  We hope you take the opportunity to enjoy both these wines, and taste some of our newest releases.
 
DOUBLE GOLD - Our 2007 Sangiovese has been awarded the Best in Class honor at the Indianapolis International Wine Competition
Our 2008 Pinot Gris has been awarded the 2009 Bronze Medal in the Indianapolis  International Wine Competition. 
Our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon has been awarded a 2009 Bronze Medal in the pretigious Seattle Wine Awards.
Our 2006 Sangiovese has been awarded the 2009 Bronze Medal in the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition.

WineShoppe and Events Tasting Dates

Stomani Cellars will be pouring wine at various events throughout the upcoming months.  Following is a list of upcoming locations and dates.  Feel free to stop in to these locations and enjoy the wines, conversation and company of the merchants and other guests.  Our wines will be the feaured pouring. 

 

 

SSAW Second Saturday Pouring

1:00pm - 5:00pm  Saturday, July 11th -- At the Winery Seattle, WA

Come down to SoDo, Georgetown and South Park and enjoy the wines of all eight Artisan Wineries.

 

Vino at the Landing

 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Friday, July 17th -- Renton, WA 

For those on the Eastside, come on over to Vino at the Landing for a pouring and tasting.  Join host Rick McMasters and Stomani Cellars, sampling some of our newest releases.

 

Wine Shoppe at Hawks Landing

4:00pm - 7:00pm, Thursday July 23rd -- Renton, WA

For those on the Eastside, come over to the Wine Shoppe at Hawks Landing just off I-405 near the Seattle Seahawks training facility for a pouring and tasting.  Join host Tracie Hogan and Stomani Cellars sampling some of our newest award winning wines.

We are very excited about our winery which is located in the heart of the SODO district of Seattle.  We are steps away from both Safeco Field and Qwest Field.   When visiting our winery, there is plenty of onstreet parking, so come on down!
